Biography
Maggie Chen, ASW, MPH is a public health educator and mental health clinician who supports queer, neurodivergent, and Asian American and other BIPOC individuals in learning to exist as freely as possible within oppressive systems. Her work is grounded in meeting clients where they are, honoring lived experiences, and recognizing the impact of systemic and generational harm.
She believes therapeutic work should be rooted not only in processing pain and struggle, but also, and more importantly, in joy and radical hope. Maggie especially enjoys working with young children and their families, while also finding deep connection with young adults navigating identity, belonging, and autonomy within these communities. Across her work, she is committed to fostering spaces that affirm identity, nurture self-trust, and support clients in living more authentically.
